The most likely outcome is that the champion will be crowned very early on, but in a worse case scenario the champ could win only 2 races and fail to finish in the rest. TBH I hope this does happen should this rule be enforced. Then the FIA would be forced to rethink their rubbish. My proposal would be to make 1st place worth 12 points, so there was more benefit to winning but there would also be a benefit to racing to as high as you can so you get a decent points haul. I can't believe they changed it, and then delayed it until 2010. Craziness. It might make the races more exciting, either that or end the championship a month early.
