As most who know me will know, I love American Chopper (shown on Discovery here in the UK) but at the end of the current series the unthinkable happens – Vinnie Dimartino leaves – and he is closely followed by Cody Connelly. Since I heard about this back in September/October I had a feeling that they would be working together somehow. Their on screen friendship has grown over the years and it is obvious there is respect between the two.
In the past few weeks their plans have started to appear on the Internet and their new business venture is about to start – V Force Customs. Although they are still fitting out their new shop, it looks like it could be quite impressive, with a huge double front window to the assembly area and a classic epoxy floor – watch as they tour the shop along with other typical Vinnie/Cody videos here. The new shop also appears to be in between the current OCC shop and their all new ‘world headquarters’.
Hopefully they will be picked up by one of the networks and have their own TV series…..after all Vinnie was really the brains behind the recent Orange County Choppers bike builds and Cody was a good all rounder with enthusiasm to learn. I wish them both well for future, and it will also be interesting to see what happens at OCC now both Vinnie and Cody have escaped.
Glad to see V & C have moved on to better things.
Jr. while he did come up with some good designs, still very lazy, would not last in his job if his Dad was not the boss.
Burned me up a few years ago when the shop was a mess and Sr. sent V home w/o pay when his wife was pregnant with his daughter.
You could tell the look on his face, take this job and shove it, but V kept his cool and toughed it out.
Foolish how they use the welders w/o the proper eye and glove protection. UV rays will get Jr. some day.
Would not want one of their bikes after they beat the crap out of it with the mallet trying to align the rear fender or wheel, seized the engine because the motor oil was not synthetic in the middle of the winter !
Vinnie you are a true craftsman !
the others at OCC are just assemblers.
vinnie,, over years you have taken a lot of crap from that lot (daddy and son) i know in my heart you and cody have done the right thing by going your own way in life…and i truly hope you make a fantastic go of it..god bless the two of you,,,and hurry up i want to see you with your own show to show orange county choppers how to make bikes ok..god bless ronnie

good on you all for taking control of the asylum you and cody will make a formidable team although the tuttels are a fantastic family they should have realised you rick and cody were the engine room and at least offered you a partnership of some sortthanks to you all for converting me to the world of cruisers instead of leaky oily brit bikes
Living in Scotland we are a bit behind the current tv shows, sorry to see you leave but you have made the right decision, I felt a gradual lack of gratitude was starting to be shown to you and all the others at OCC who made the show what it is. Cannot wait to see you get a show of your own. All the best for the future, YOU ARE THE MAN!!!
good to the both of you . i seen vinnie and cody 6 years ago in birch run michigan with occ excellant show
